The Mount Toubkal Trek is rated as moderate to challenging. While no technical climbing skills are required during most of the year, you should have a good level of fitness and be comfortable hiking for several hours each day at high altitude.

No. Previous trekking experience is helpful but not essential. Our experienced local guides will support you throughout the trek. During the winter months (December to March), snow and ice may require the use of crampons and an ice axe.

The tour includes round-trip transportation from Marrakech, a certified mountain guide, accommodation, meals during the trek, mule support for luggage, and all trekking arrangements as listed in the itinerary.

We recommend bringing hiking boots, warm clothing, a waterproof jacket, a small daypack, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, gloves, a reusable water bottle, and personal toiletries. In winter, additional cold-weather gear is essential.

The best seasons are spring (April to May) and autumn (September to November) when temperatures are pleasant and the weather is generally stable. Summer is also suitable, while winter offers a snowy alpine experience for those prepared with the proper equipment.

On the first night, you'll stay at the Toubkal Refuge. After summiting on Day 2, you'll descend to a traditional guesthouse in Aroumd Village for a comfortable overnight stay before returning to Marrakech on Day 3.
